Russia 2010
We had the privilege of carrying a team to Petropavlovsk, a city on the Kamchatka peninsula of Russia. We worked with two International Mission Board (IMB) families who serve our Lord on this peninsula. We primarily did street evangelism, or course we used translators to communicate with the people. Each day we would go out into different areas of the city and casually stop people on the street, tell them that we were from America, and get permission to ask them a few questions. Some people we encountered did not want to participate, while others were very open to talking with us. Through a series of questions, we would lead to the “greatest” question of all - asking if they had a relationship with Jesus Christ. It was a great experience serving our Lord among the Russian people. |
